The Macleay Valley Workplace Learning Centre Inc. is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering courses that are industry approved and nationally recognized, including eligible Traineeships. MVWLC Inc. has been operating successfully as a RTO since 1999.Our staff are highly qualified and experienced educators and trainers, who are dedicated to assisting our students successfully achieve their formal qualification/s.
MVWLC Inc. is committed to adhering to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015.
For Employers/Industry we can also provide specific skills training to boost the capability of your existing staff or assist with induction of new staff. Our business skills can be customised to suit you, no matter how big or small your organisation. Whether through on the job traineeships for new or existing workers, or delivery of workshop training at your premises or ours, MVWLC Inc.’s experienced trainers and assessors focus on ensuring that our skill development services are tailored to meet your specific needs.
MVWLC Inc. has been contracted by the NSW Government as a Registered Training Organisation to deliver full and partial qualifications. These can be funded through the Smart and Skilled Program. Smart and Skilled funding is designed to help eligible people develop the skills needed to gain employment and build/advance their career.
Important Note: For eligible participants, this training is subsidised by the NSW Government. You can either refer to Smart and Skilled for information or discuss your options with MVWLC Inc. staff. To determine the fee amount you may be required to pay (which may be full, concession or exempt), refer to the Smart and Skilled Fee Administration Policy.

To commence training with Macleay Valley Workplace Learning Centre Inc. you need to complete an Enrolment Form. This form records your personal details, contact information and your training history. The content is required by law to assist governments to plan for future training needs and to generate statistics of the training that takes place in Australia.
If you are a Trainee you will also be required to complete a National Training Contract that formally registers your training with the State Training Services (NSW). This is a binding legal contract involving you, your employer and the state government. Your Australian Apprenticeship Network Provider (ANP) representative will assist you in completing this form.

If you discontinue your training it is necessary to notify all parties to the training contract. Forms for this are available from our office, open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

Obtaining a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
Everyone who undertakes nationally recognised training from January 2015 must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) so they can enrol and have their qualification achieved recorded on a secure national register. This is beneficial so an individual can track their qualifications, and can readily print off information for employers when applying for a job.
Go to Unique Student Identifier (USI) to create your individual USI. It is an easy 5-step process and there is help on the website. Further information regarding the USI is included in the MVWLC Inc. Trainee Handbook and on our enrolment form.
