The Year 9 PDHPE class was the first to try out our new multipurpose court playing basketball, with Lachlan scoring the first hoop of many. It has also proved to be a perfect surface for skateboarding as demonstrated here by Tyran and Bronwyn.
This court, combined with our handball court and new oval, will expand the sporting options considerably at VC.
The court construction was started at the end of 2022 but the weather and some structural issues slowed the building progress.
Now there is nothing stopping us!
It’s good for students, with more opportunity to play more sports. The surface is smoother and more professional in appearance.
