Empowering young people

Macleay Vocational College is a Special Assistance School for Year 9-12 students on Dhungutti Country for students from the Macleay Valley. Our students experience a flexible learning environment that supports them to re-engage with education and future pathways beyond school.

We help the young people of the Macleay Valley

We help students who have disengaged from mainstream education to reconnect with school and with the support of the MVC staff set future goals that include a range of pathways.

Our unique setting

Allows students to complete their HSC, enrol in University and Vocational Courses as well as explore employment pathways.

Our Vision

Our vision at Macleay Vocational College is to promote the development of the young people enrolled and foster their personal growth to become resilient, tolerant and self-confident members of community.

We encourage a commitment to lifelong learners and promote a personal best approach to their learning and development.

The school environment is supportive and flexible and supports students to feel a sense of belonging, pride, cultural identity and awareness.
