The Macleay Vocational College provides a unique service, one which is not available to any other region in the nation. This model is cost effective and the College is prepared to develop the model and assist other communities to disseminate a similar model. After only 18 months the Macleay Vocational College outgrew its initial site. In 2005 we constructed a purpose built Vocational Education & Training Facility in Reginald Ward Street, South Kempsey
This new facility was funded by the following:
Regional Partnerhsips - Department of Transport & Regional Services (DoTARS) - $816,000
Association of Independent Schools Block Grant Authority - $528,000
Investing in our Schools Program - $70,000
Office of Indigenous Policy Co-ordination (OIPC) - $204,000
Kempsey Shire Council- lease of land
Business Loan, St. George Bank - $350,000
